Having to overcome the unique challenges of living with food allergies, his parents decided a service dog, or food odor detection dog, would be a wonderful and necessary addition to the family. As we know, every “super” kid needs a sidekick.
Penny has a very special superpower; she can detect hidden allergens or “dangers” to help keep the little boy safe. This fun and spirited story gives valuable insight into the realities of living with food allergies from a child’s perspective in a way that is easily digestible for both children and adults
